Community Kitchen is a Fast Casual Restaurant located in Savannah, Georgia designed for celebrity chef Samin Nosrat. Featuring a workshop space, Community Kitchen offers a space for visitors to learn how to cook and prepare specific meals. Nosrat has said in an interview that “what any immigrant is after is the taste of home”. It is vital to integrate a wide variety of dishes and treats from as many countries as possible into the food culture of downtown Savannah. Having Community Kitchen here in town will give more people a place to remind them of home and introduce people to new foods that they might otherwise not have the opportunity to try.
